Arad is on the banks of the river Mures, 40 km from Agro Village. Not far from the first hills of Transilvania, the country of Arad is full of vineyards from where they get good and appreciated wines.The long years of the Austro Hungarian Empire left an indelible mark and urbanism in the style of its buildings. The "Palace Cenad" is among them.
Built in the second half of the eighteenth century, the fortress of Arad is situate on a bendo the river Mures, which surrounds it on three sides. It is shaped like a double star with 6 points in which there are buildings and military barracks. It's considered a masterpiece of the military age. During the napoleonic wars french prisoners were held there. After 1848 it was used as a prisoner.
Arad has an international airport used by various companies that provides convenient connections to different destinations throughout Europe.
